Champion’s Drive F-Lot Bourbon
F Lot has a place in Madison College and JMU history. Just off of Champions Drive, F Lot has been a gathering place for Purple and Gold memories. The second release in the Champions Drive Bourbon Collection toasts to great times and generational friendships. Straight Bourbon Whiskey
57.5% Acl/vol | 115 proof
75% Corn | 20% Rye | 5% Malted Barley
Here’s what you can expect from this high-end Bourbon:
COLOR: Rich amber to light copper, deepening to warm mahogany as light passes through, suggesting a full-bodied, layered experience
NOSE: Scents of vanilla, dates, dark fruit, and brown sugar provide a warm introduction, while hints of caramelized almonds add complexity to the barrel-strength profile.
PALATE: The palate opens with dark brown sugar, harmoniously balanced with notes of dried fruit, toffee, vanilla, and butterscotch. Nuances of dark chocolate from the white oak barrels emerge, while roasted hazelnuts and a touch of orange zest bring a refreshing brightness.
FINISH: Medium to long, the finish is warm, with a delightful interplay of spices that lingers with subtle hints of nutmeg and clove. Adding a splash of water enhances the spiced notes, slightly mellowing the fruit.
