ABOUT THE COLLECTIVE
Montpelier Collective is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization launched May 2023 to provide opportunities for student-athletes at James Madison University to benefit from their Name, Image and Likeness (NIL).
As a collective, we are excited to help JMU student-athletes while fostering a close connection with our local community.
OUR VISION IS TO INSTILL A LIFELONG PASSION FOR CHARITABLE WORK IN THESE YOUNG ATHLETES.
AT ITS CORE
The Montpelier Collective is all about fostering community involvement. Founded with the primary aim of championing the volunteer efforts of student athletes at James Madison University, the Collective supports these athletes by offering stipends in exchange for the use of their Name, Image, or Likeness tied to these volunteer activities.
Financial integrity is paramount to us. The board ensures that a significant portion of our revenue directly benefits local charities, with no more than 10% allocated for administrative expenses.
